Japanese Decor is a small shop for Japanese-style home ware, run by the person who chooses everything in it.
You will find here:
- Japanese home decor,
- Japanese lamps,
- Japanese furniture
- and Japanese kitchen items.
The person behind Japanese Decor
I am Yuki, and this shop is mine. I choose every piece myself and order in small quantities, so what is listed online is what we actually have left.
I look at proportion before anything else: a lamp that sits low and spreads its light instead of pointing it at you, a noren that clears the doorway, a floor cushion you can sit on for a whole evening.
A room reads as Japanese because of the way it treats light, space and material, not because of the pattern printed on it. That is the only rule I use to decide what goes in the shop, and what stays out.

We offer a wide range of items from classic Washitsu to modern Japanese minimalist design. You can easily add a Japanese touch to your home by making use of a Shoji panel or by placing Maneki Neko figurines or Daruma dolls around the house.
In addition to various types of Japanese furniture we also supply noren curtains and other items. In each product description you will find information regarding the characteristics, dimensions and practical use, to enable you to form a good opinion in advance of the purchase.
Find everything related to materials, design dimensions and intended use so that you can compare products with each other before ordering. Each order is individually packaged and shipped with care.
We will email a shipping confirmation to you for tracking purposes once your order is placed. Email our customer support before and after purchase with any queries you may have. We also offer information on Japanese decorating styles in our blog. We strive to design products and make applicable information available to interior users.
